dc.description.abstract This course is designed to make the English learning process easier and more effective for EFL students, especially in the field of fashion. Their three main skills, vocabulary, reading and speaking, will be developed through various activities and approaches, with the implementation of two core techniques; CBI and the Communicative approach. The classes are held twice a week, each lasting for 90 minutes, which adds up to a total of two-month course. The students are of pre-intermediate level aged from 18-25 years old. They will be able to learn the target language through many fun games and activities in order to work on their not only the language skills but also the content which is their field of interest. The main topics that are going to be covered are the evolution of fashion history, production of different fabrics, how to mix and match prints and patterns accordingly, names of different color terms and combinations, how perfumes are made, and most importantly, designers and their sources of inspiration. Students will be encouraged to complete many required tasks in groups or pairs to improve their communicative skills as well as their abilities to function better in a group such as designing or sketching, creating mood boards, where they pin their sources of inspiration on a cardboard, interviewing their peers and so on. en_US
