Drawbacks in Armenian environmental legislation: case of Teghut mining project

Abstract

This paper examines the social, economic, ecological and legal impact of Teghut mining project. The paper will concentrate on the legislation violated by Teghut Mining Project and will give policy options and recommendations. The aim of the paper is to reveal drawbacks of environmental legislation of RA and thus, make the government to denounce the man-made ecological disaster project of Teghut.
