Grammar-based Game and Activity Book for Language Leader Pre-Intermediate

Abstract

This activity book design aimed at developing supplementary material for ESL/EFL teachers and students using Language Leader Pre-Intermediate as the main source of learning English. The textbook is a relevant course for students willing to enhance their communicative abilities. With substantial speaking, reading, writing and listening material however, there are far fewer grammar assignments in the textbook. Having taken into consideration the learners’ needs and difficulties they faced in remembering grammar patterns, the following activity book has been created to ease the understanding of different grammatical structures and make the learning process more enjoyable. The activity book comprises grammar-based games and activities matching with grammar topics in the textbook. Overall, there are 24 games/activities for 12 units of the textbook, 2 games/activities for each.
