Teaching English through Tourism

Abstract

This paper helps EFL learners to improve both their language and content skills. It gives general knowledge about tourism studies and aims to go in depth. In this course of ten weeks students are engaged in different types of tourism and learn the main expressions and phrases connected to tourism and travelling. The course is designed for intermediate level students. All the topics and course materials cover the whole activities about tourism in general and also tourism in Armenia. This project gives a lot of opportunity to reveal the students’ challenges about the topic and help students to get knowledge about tourism in depth.
