dc.description.abstract In the thesis essay the topic of inclusive education is discussed. It gives short understanding of the development of the notion of inclusive education and through what stages it passed. The paper highlights the fundamental principles laid in the basis of the transformation of educational system from segregated into integrated one. Passing through legal background of the inclusive education in Armenia the paper provides primary data to delve into the implementation process. The discussion of some official reports will serve a tool to look at the issue from different aspects and points of view. For this Masters Essay qualitative methodology has been used. Primary data collection is acquired by means of classroom observations and teachers’ interviews as data collection tools. It is proved that in the observed school teachers mainly do not have any education, experience and qualification of teaching students with disabilities. When facing challenges they rely on their own experience and skills. en_US
