Tour guide mobile application

Abstract

The goal of this project to create an Android application which will help tourists during their travel to Armenia. It provides them with necessary information about places they want to go. As the most of the touristic attractions are in the regions where locals don’t speak English, it contains Armenian phrases which will help tourists to interact with people. The application is able to serve as a guide and give tourists historical information about monuments and other famous attractions. It also shows the location of the monuments in the map. The application is able to get users location and show attractions near to user. Was implemented login/register and logout functionalities with connection with the database.
