The UNPK is based on the principles of creating an unbiased environment for the hostile parties for easing the solution of the conflict and forming enough space for political negotiations. The United Nations’s three basic peacekeeping principles are: consent, impartiality and non-use of force, except in self-defense and defense of the mandate. |
