This paper investigates the practice of the principle of proportionality in the field of freedom of assembly. In addition, it aims to provide answer to the research question as to whether the decision to terminate or disperse of a peaceful protest by police forces during the “Electric Yerevan” was within the limits of proportionality and points out the reasonable measures, which police may implement. |
