dc.description.abstract	The purpose of this Master’s policy project is to describe the implementation of Millennium Development Goal 1 in Armenia both by United Nations and Armenian MDG implementation team. The paper is expected to focus on the following aspects: presenting an overview of different concepts of poverty, describing the economic condition in Armenia at the time MDGs came into being, activities of both UN’s and Armenian team towards poverty reduction and overall human development, discussing and analyzing programs for alleviation of this problem. In the end recommendations will be given in this regard.	en_US
