dc.description.abstract The project “Extensive reading in EFL classes” targets 15-16 year-old students of Pre- intermediate level of English proficiency in Abovyan public school No. 6. The purpose of the project is to provide the students with an extensive reading course as extra classes to their regular curriculum. The project is designed for twenty-two class hours; the classes were held twice a week with one/two-hour duration in the school. The reading course is developed to arouse interest towards extensive reading among the EFL students and to widen the students’ awareness of literary works of well-known authors in various genres, like drama, crime, comedy, detective and adventure stories. en_US
