dc.description.abstract The idea of human rights has wings. It has found its way around the globe and everyone is reminded often of its importance. The concept of human rights has become part of global law and mortality. Human Rights came of age as a legitimate international concern with the close of World War II, the founding of United Nations and the adoption of Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the UN General Assembly in 1948. During this period there has been an explosion of local, national and international voluntary organizations working for the promotion and protection of human rights on every continent and in almost every country in the world. Today most of them are widely known as International Non-Governmental Human Rights Organizations. The purpose of this paper is to explore the role and importance of INGOs in current world order. As well as the paper analyzes the influence and authority that these INGOs have on states. Mainly it investigates the functioning of INGOs, their report creating mechanisms. Moreover, the policy paper with the case study of Armenia will show the importance of communication between INGOs and a state. en_US
