dc.description.abstract The purpose of this Master’s essay is to observe and compare the conflicts in Nagorno Karabagh and Kosovo. The study will be in the field of Comparative politics. It will be descriptive and explanatory, based on the secondary use of data. The following study will focus on the comparison of the following aspects of the above mentioned conflicts: similarities and differences in the origins, escalation and resolution processes of these two prominent intransigent conflicts of the post-Soviet period. Legal perspective with the examination of formation, administrative reorganizations and the legality of both secessions. Strategic perspective, which will look at significantly different processes under which the conflicts were settled and what are the possible scenarios for the future. Finally, the conclusions will be given based on founded similarities and differences. en_US
